So I thought I had baby fever before I had my little guy, but let me tell you, it’s way worse once you have a baby of your own! Newborn photography has taken on so much more meaning for me since having just gone through the newborn phase. I am so, so excited to document these moments for my families because I know not only how special they are, but also how fleeting they are. And while those first couple of months with a new babe are rife with challenges, there is so much raw, real beauty to be found there.

Meet Silas, the sweetest little 9 day old love bug you’ll ever see. Sleepy and snuggly, curious and alert, he was an absolute joy to photograph. I think he only cried once during the entire session. It was so lovely to witness new parents Christina and Patrick loving on their little babe; the three already seemed to have formed such a beautiful new bond together. It was such an honor to capture these moments for them. Here are a (not so) few of my favorites, because there were too many images I loved from this one!
