What’s my favorite thing about being a family photographer? Getting to photograph families year after year and being able to witness and document them over time as they grow and change. I’ve been photographing Rachel and John since 2018, when they were expecting their first baby and I have loved being able to capture so many memories for them along their journey into parenthood. I was so excited when they reached out to have me document the arrival of their second baby, Max, this summer. I could not wait to get the text that he had finally arrived!

This session was so much fun; not only is Max super adorable, but big sis Ella brought lots of personality and sweetness to the session that made it such a joy to photograph. I love making photos like these ones, and I hope these images do justice to the special moment in time that this was for this sweet family.
