I am so excited to share this sweet session on the blog today! This had originally been booked as a Fresh 48 hospital session, which as many of you know, is my absolute favorite type of session to photograph, and unfortunately due to the pandemic, had to be postponed. And while we can’t really reschedule a Fresh 48 session (since they take place at the hospital within 48 hours of baby being born), Meghan and Andrew opted for an outdoor family session to capture their baby girl Scarlett at around 3 months. I met up with them at Mackworth Island on a beautiful Sunday morning in late July and I had so much fun getting to know these three. Baby Scarlett was an absolute joy to photograph, with her gorgeous blue eyes and full head of dark brown hair. She also had on the cutest outfit, complete with an adorable bow in her hair that she rocked for the entire session! I feel so lucky to have been able to witness the love and connection between these three, and to have been able to stop time for just an hour to document some moments from Scarlett’s first summer.
