Friends, I am so excited to share today’s post. I cannot even begin to tell you what a dream this session was to photograph. Maternity sessions (especially studio ones) are such a different beast from the type of sessions I normally photograph, and I really love pushing myself to get creative and try new things. When Heather told me she was up for a studio maternity session, I was super pumped and could not wait to create beautiful, timeless images for her to remember this pregnancy by.

I first met Heather through mutual friends, and then I was lucky enough to get to interview her at her gorgeous home to talk about making soap! Crazy how time flies, cause I think that was ten years ago now. Her sweet family of three will soon grow to a family of four (not including her two adorable labs), and it is an honor being able to witness and document these times of transition. Heather was absolutely glowing at her studio maternity session, and I had so much fun capturing this special time in her life. I love that her son Emmet was able to be there and willing to hop in some shots with his mom. Here are some of my faves from this beautiful session.
