If you’re anything like me, once September rolls around, you start to miss summer, even before it begins to fade into fall. All the signs are here, including a sun that sets before 8pm and nights that now require a sweatshirt. But don’t worry, because I’ve got many summer session blog posts lined up to keep you holding onto that good ol’ summer feeling, including this love filled Kettle Cove family session.

I feel like I’ve known Laura for years, as she is dear friends with one of my dearest friends. I can’t tell you how excited I was to finally get her and her ADORABLE family in front of my camera. The family lives in California, but always makes time to come back to Laura's home state of Maine. There's no denying that Laura's love for Maine has been passed on to her two little ones, and I loved being able to capture these summer Maine memories for them. Kettle Cove was a perfect backdrop for a family session that was full of silly sounds, belly tickles, puddle splashing, and seashell scavenging. Here are a few of my favorites!
