Some of my most favorite families to photograph are those that are referred to me by friends. I met this lovely family at their home in Cumberland and immediately felt so welcome in their home. Carlos and Maria are some of the nicest, most genuine people you will ever meet, and their son Andy was a dream to photograph! He had just woken from his afternoon nap when we began the session, so he was equal parts quiet and curious about me and my camera. We started in the master bedroom and then moved onto Andy’s nursery for some fun candid shots of the family playing with his toys and Andy even showed me some of his dance moves! We then ventured to a local beach at the end of the session for some outdoor photos. While Andy wasn’t the biggest fan of sand on his toes, he loved being in the arms of his mom, dad, and his abuela.
