I can’t even begin to describe how honored I am to have one of my photos published in Dear Photographer Magazine. This is the first time I have been published for my photography work and I almost couldn’t believe it until I got my copy in the mail and saw my photo in print!

The image that made it in was from Katy’s sunrise maternity session from last September. That shoot still gives me goosebumps when I look back through the images and I am so so grateful for the opportunity to make those photos. The session moved me out of my comfort zone and let me explore a new side of photography. And Katy was the perfect muse, for not only did she inspire me to create images that I had only ever envisioned in my head, but she also trusted me to capture her at that very special and magical time in her life.
