I’m not going to lie, the weather was a little chilly during this family session at Winslow State Park in Freeport, but there was glorious sunshine to warm our faces, a beautiful rocky beach to explore, and an adventurous family willing to make the most of the afternoon. These photos feel so special to me, because they mark the time when there were only four of them. In a few more months, a new little baby will be arriving and everything will shift and change. Family dynamics are so incredibly fascinating to me, and I always feel so lucky when I get to hang out with a family for an hour and capture who they are together, especially right before a big milestone like welcoming a new baby into their home.
