To say I love Fresh 48 sessions would be an understatement. There is something so special about the unposed and relaxed nature of the photos that capture the raw, natural beauty of what brand new parenthood looks like. These moments, and the memories of them, are fleeting and often a blur. It is my goal to capture the squishy cheeks, tiny toes, mom’s loving embrace and dad’s tentative swaddling so that the family can look back on the images for years to come.

It is hard to believe but Katy and I shot her maternity session 2 days—yes, 2 days!— before she gave birth to her baby boy. Sweet Miles is one day old in these images and at the time, had yet to be named. Katy and Ryan, thank you so much for trusting me to capture these moments for you.
