This maternity session blew me away. To say this was a dream shoot would be a huge understatement. I feel so fortunate anytime I get to photograph any soon to be mama and capture that part of her journey into motherhood, but this session with Katy felt like such a gift. It was a chance to explore the more creative side of my photography. This shoot came about by chance, with things falling into place at all the right moments. I feel incredibly lucky that Katy and I met at Kettle Cove to make these images together. She was in the early stages of labor during the session, and gave birth two days later to a sweet little boy. Her strength and grace inspire me, and I hope these images speak to you.
